🐺 Isaiah's Prophetic Visions of Animals 🐑

This passage in Isaiah, chapter 11, is one of the Bible’s most vivid hope-filled images. The prophet Isaiah gives us a glimpse of the world reborn — a world so full of the knowledge of the LORD that even nature’s fiercest instincts are transformed. Wolves no longer hunt lambs; lions graze beside calves; and a small child plays where serpents once struck. These images are not mere poetry; they are promises of a new creation under the reign of the Spirit-anointed King. Where violence once ruled, peace will bloom. Where fear had once divided, intimate trust will return.

This is the Kingdom Jesus began to reveal — not through domination, but through righteousness, mercy, and the power of the Spirit. Each picture in Isaiah’s vision calls us to participate in that Divine restoration now — to become living signs of the world to come, where unconditional love disarms hostility and every heart knows the peace of God. These startling contrasts (wolf + lamb, child + snake) are meant to arrest the imagination — to give hope that even the most unlikely enemies can be reconciled when God rules with truth and justice. These images are in canvas painting style:
